A Lazy Day Outfit

IMG_1809

Matty and I stayed at this beautiful guest house in Franschhoek a few weeks ago and I could not pass up the opportunity to take a photo. Read about my Franschhoek weekend away and see what I wore on the first day on my other posts.

This outfit was my “Sunday Funday” outfit, comfortable and ready for a day out and to explore. I am wearing quite an array of brands. My thin burgundy bomber jacket is from Old Khaki and I paired it my lace up H&M top. I wish it wasn’t cold that day so I could show you the cool flared sleeves this top has. I was already braving the cold with wearing a thin jacket.

I personally do not enjoy plain black jeans, I struggle to style them to the way I want it. I generally prefer to go for a grey toned/ black washed skinny jeans. I purchased these jeans from ZARA last year and they have become one of my most worn pair of jeans. They are easy to throw on for university but I can easily style them up with a silk camisole and black heels. I prefer to purchase pieces that are versatile and that I can wear for many seasons. I wish I wore my black Chelsea boots with this outfit but I was suffering from a blister on my foot and I choose to rather be comfortable with my trusty white sneakers.

I hope my cheesy smile from the last photo brightens up your day. My boyfriend was trying to get me to laugh and it turned out to be an interesting facial expression!
